Teen drug dealer who sprayed acid in three victims faces over cocaine row is jailed for nine years
A TEENAGE drug dealer sprayed acid in three people’s faces after accusing them of stealing his cocaine stash.
Fahad Abdi, 18, left Janet Durrant, Emily Thompson and Justin Vincent with horror burns and temporarily blind.
He flipped when his drugs and cash were stolen in February last year.
Abdi wrongly thought they were responsible.
He threatened them with a knife then squirted the corrosive liquid.
Abdi was found guilty of three charges of GBH.
Judge James O'Mahony said: “It is absolutely shocking to me that someone of your age could commit such a wicked and cowardly act.
“You are a vicious and violent man. You decided that even though there was no evidence that any of your victims had done anything wrong, you were going to punish all three of them.”
The teenager of Forest Gate, East London, had set up in the home of a user — known as cuckooing — to sell drugs in Canterbury, Kent.
He was jailed for nine years at Canterbury crown court.
Det Con Terence Seager said: “Abdi has physically and emotionally scarred the victims.”
