CRICKET legend Shane Warne hit a porn star in the face in a nightclub row, it was claimed yesterday.
Valerie Fox, 30, has complained to cops and tweeted photos of bruises said to have been caused by the legendary Aussie spinner, writing: “Proud of yourself? Hitting a woman? Vile creature.”
Witnesses looked on as glamour model Valerie and Warne, 48, rowed in a club on Friday night. She is said to have fallen to the floor clutching her face.
Cops are understood to be investigating if CCTV captured any incident at Loulou’s in Mayfair, central London.
It is not known if the pair spent the evening together or met in the club.
In the tweets posted early yesterday Valerie insisted: “And no, I’m not lying. Just because you’re famous doesn’t mean you can hit women and get away with it.”
She also shared a police incident card saying: “The crime we will investigate is assault.”
The note showed her complaint had been passed to Westminster borough command.
Warne was pictured at the club on Wednesday night. He is thought to be aware he faces an accusation of assault.
His TV commentating contracts could be in jeopardy if it is proved he hit a woman.
Valerie, who has appeared in dozens of porn films, calls herself an “international temptress and glamour model” on Twitter.
She added there last night: “Thank you to my lovely followers for all your kind messages and support, means a lot.”
She tried to cover her face as she got out of a taxi near her central London home.
Asked about her night out she said: “I will not be talking to the press about this.”
In April The Sun revealed she and ex-Ukip chief Nigel Farage snogged and groped during a champagne-fuelled romp on a plane.
She said they got so carried away they were ready to join the Mile High Club.
But Valerie said they decided against having sex in the toilet because they feared being found out by cabin crew.
Warne took over 1,000 wickets for Australia in his 15-year career. In 2000 he lost the vice-captaincy after sexting a British nurse.
In 2005 he split with wife Simone Callahan, mum to his three children over allegations he was cheating.
They reconciled in 2007 but Simone left him again after he mistakenly texted her a message intended for another woman.
Warne wooed Brit actress Liz Hurley in 2010 and they got engaged during a three-year romance.
Bra tycoon Michelle Mone claimed he wanted to bed her while dating Liz.
Warne, now a professional poker player ranked 94,575th in the world, was recently linked to Aussie model Emily Sears, 32.
Scotland Yard said last night: “Detectives are investigating an allegation of assault alleged to have taken place in a nightclub on Hertford Street in Westminster in the early hours of Saturday.
"There have been no arrests and inquiries continue.”
Warne’s spokesman declined to comment.
