Where is Rainbow House, when did EuroMillions winners Matt and Cassey Topham buy the mansion and how much did it cost?
RAINBOW house is an art deco mansion in Nottingham that was bought by EuroMillions winners Matt and Cassey Topham.
But where is the seven-bedroom pile and how much did it cost?
Where is Rainbow House?
Rainbow House sits in the grounds of Wollaton Hall — which was used as Wayne Manor in 2012 Batman film The Dark Knight Rises — in Nottingham.
The house is accessed by Adams Hill, known locally as 'Millionaires' Row', which runs parallel to the A52 Derby Road.
It was bought by EuroMillions £45million jackpot winners Matt and Cassey Topham in 2012.
How much was Rainbow House bought for?
Matt and Cassey Topham paid £1.2million for the mansion in 2012.
They immediately made plans which involved demolishing it and building a £5m property that included dozens of solar panels, a dramatic sweeping staircase inside, and a garage with space for 10 cars.
House prices have increased by around 5 per cent in the area since 2012 according to Home Track, meaning the house could have been worth closer to £1.3m by 2017.
But the house has fallen into disrepair and is now a magnet for drug users, vandals and rowdy youths, The Sun revealed.
The couple have put in new plans with Nottingham City Council.
Who are Matt and Cassey Topham and how much did they win on the EuroMillions?
Matt and Cassey Topham, both 28, are thought to live near Newark, Notts.
They scooped the EuroMillions jackpot of £45,160,170 in February 2012 when they were both just 23.
Painter and decorator Matt and Iceland shop worker Casey lived in a £89,950 ex-council house in Stapleford before their huge windfall.
