Ahmed, 64, is serving a 22-year jail term for leading the sex grooming gang, which targeted girls as young as 13 in the Rochdale area.

In his latest court case a jury found him guilty of assaulting a fellow lag after deliberating for just 24 minutes, the reports.

Leeds Crown Court heard he launched a horror attack on prisoner, James ‘Jimmy’ Palmer on March 22 last year after hearing him discuss the terror atrocity.

Ahmed screamed "I'll kill you if you slag off Muslims" and later later punched the 71-year-old to the ground before stamping on his head repeatedly, a court heard.

Palmer was treated in prison for a "bust nose", cut lip and other injuries.

Judge Kearle increased Ahmed's sentence by one year after he was found guilty of the attack.

The vile peadophile had previously been convicted of  two counts of rape, one sex assault, trafficking and conspiracy to engage in sexual activity with a child.

During his previous trial a court heard how the Rochdale grooming gang - eight of Pakistani origin and one from Afghanistan - gave their victims drink and drugs  before “passing them” round for sex.

During both his trials Ahmed complained of a white conspiracy but was slapped down a judge.

Ahmed, who abused dozens of vulnerable teenagers, was known as "Daddy" to his victims.

The divorced former taxi driver from Pakistan scoffed that his victims were telling “white lies” during his trial.

He is currently appealing a decision to strip him of UK citizenship arguing it breaches his human rights.
