George Michael’s IVF mum shows off her baby after the pop superstar paid for her fertility treatment
Lynette Gillard appeared on Deal or No Deal to fund more money for IVF when superstar anonymously gave her £9,000 for treatment
THIS is the heartwarming moment the mum who gave birth after George Michael secretly donated £9,000 for IVF proudly shows off her baby son.
Lynette Gillard had spent £45,000 to have the baby she desperately craved but after nine failed rounds of IVF, she had run out of cash.
The 38-year-old went on Deal or No Deal to get money to continue the treatment following a 13-year battle to conceive.
Superstar George then contacted TV chiefs and donated £9,000 on the condition he remained anonymous.
Lynette only learned he cash came from the Careless Whisper legend after his tragic death on Christmas Day aged just 53.
She has now proudly shown off baby Seth George Hart on This Morning, where she said she still can't believe the adorable tot is hers.
Beaming Lynette said: "I sometimes watch friends holding him and think 'oh, he's lovely' and then they pass him back to me and I think 'oh, he's mine'."
George’s gift in 2008 let Lynette have tests which found she had cells that kill off embryos, and the condition was treated.
Lynette, of Westhoughton, Gtr Manchester, and her partner split in 2013 but she then fell for childhood friend Nathan Hart, 39, and they turned to IVF.
Her ninth round of treatment failed too and Lynette decided on one last go - but miraculously she fell pregnant naturally.
She told Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield she discovered she had missed a period on the day tragic George died.
But Lynette said it wasn't the only time a "spooky coincidence" has happened involving the Faith singer.
She explained: "I found out my late mum, who died three years ago, shares the same birthday as George.
"Also, when I was wheeled on to ward [while in labour] the midwife said you're not going to believe this, George Michael is on the radio."
Lynette also revealed how at 16 weeks pregnant, she was raced to hospital after believing she was having a miscarriage.
When she got the all-clear and was in the taxi on the way home, she was stunned when the radio was turned up and George was blaring out.
Lynette told Sun on Sunday: "I feel that George has been with me every step of the way.”
