Inside the sex robot factory where randy pervs can handpick every feature on their dolls that are so realistic they even ORGASM
THESE disturbing pictures show a factory producing astonishingly life-like sex dolls that can cost up to £11,700.
The creepy images were taken at Realbotix in San Marcos, San Diego, and show the unfinished sex toys - some of which are so technologically advanced they will even orgasm during intercourse.
One model, Harmony, will remember its buyer's favourite food, films and music, and is able to make them laugh and remember their birthday.
Customers can dictate their partner’s character by choosing between 18 personality traits including shy, sensual, jealous, moody or talkative.
The doll can be programmed to recite poetry for those who prefer a literary type, or crack jokes for customers who love a comedian.
But experts have warned that the sex dolls could lead to the further objectification of women.
Some are even worried they could be programmed to murder owners - like in hit show Westworld - if they become even more sophisticated.
But California-based creator Matt McMullen, who set up Realbotix's parent company Abyss Creations, says these arguments are absurd.
He told the : "The whole idea of a sex-capable robot is very contemporary, now and edgy. I get that.
"But Harmony is a sophisticated piece of machinery and her primary design is to carry on conversations,” he said.
DIRTY TALK Sex robot makers need women to voice their bots... and you could make a load of money if you do it
"This is not designed to replace anyone or promote the objectification of women. Robots don’t have rights.
"Should my toaster be able to refuse to toast my bread? Should my Tesla be able to refuse to drive me to work every morning?"
He added that Harmony us more like a friendly companion, like Apple’s Siri.
But dating a robot has its drawbacks - Harmony can’t hit the town with you or challenge you to a game of darts at the pub and she can’t even walk.
Matt has invested hundreds of thousands of dollars into bringing his vision of the perfect partner to life and started making RealDolls in the 1990s.
All the dolls are silicone and respond to questions with a – slightly strange – human manner.
Buyers can customise their purchase, with a selection of 42 nipple colour options and 14 different labias – which can be detached and washed in the dishwasher.
