American beauty Jeni Summers, 29, is among 27 contestants bidding to win the annual contest in Brazil in which entrants are judged on the best derriere.
Determined Jeni is eating a meat-heavy diet of steak, ham, chicken and tuna, as well as doing two hours of squats every day.
The single model, who lives in Mexico City, said: "Myself and one other contestant were specifically asked if we wanted to participate - of course I said yes, who doesn't want to make history?

"There is a cash prize and a year modelling contract that is global."
Jeni, who is originally from Florida, USA, is one of two Miss BumBum finalists not from Brazil.
She added: "I model full time for them (Playboy) - I am a Playmate and cover bunny.
"My official job title, aside from just modelling, is playmate manager and coordinator of production and events which is a dream come true.
"I don't feel like it is work, I wake every day loving what I do so much.
"From styling the girls on set at a shoot to assisting the girls at their interviews and signings to shooting myself, every day and every month is different and I love it so much.
"I was a former NFL (American football) professional cheerleader (for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers).
