Sex beast brother of Paige Doherty’s killer changes his name in jail to avoid hassle from lags sickened by her murder
George Leathem adopted an alias in tough Barlinnie nick after he was caged for carrying a blade
THE sex attacker twin of Paige Doherty’s killer has changed his name in jail to dodge hassle from lags sickened by her slaughter.
George Leathem, 33, adopted an alias in prison after he was caged for carrying a blade while was on remand.
But insiders reckon lags in Glasgow — who dubbed his sibling “public enemy No1” for butchering Paige, 15, in his Clydebank deli — will rumble the switch.
A source said last night: “George Leathem changed his name for obvious reasons — he doesn’t want any other prisoners clocking who his brother is.
“He’s going by an alias inside as he doesn’t want grief for his brother’s crime.
“But he’s kidding himself if he thinks it’ll work — they are identical twins and they are both monsters.”
