Russian model with the world’s longest legs towers over Phil and Holly on This Morning – who are forced to climb LADDERS to talk to her
Ekaterina Lisina measures up at 6ft 9in, making her the world's tallest model - and she has now won the Guinness World Record thanks to her 52in long legs
A MODEL with the world's longest legs towered over This Morning presenters Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby today - forcing the hosts to get STEPLADDERS out.
The 29-year-old strutted into the studio and left the hosts staring up at the model, who hails from Russia.
Ekaterina told them: "When I was born, my father said when he saw me for the first time that I was all legs."
To show viewers just how much they were dwarfed by the model, Holly and Phil required two stepladders just to match up with her and conduct their chat.
Ekaterina said: "When I was 16 I was already 6 foot 6.
"I played basketball professionally since I was 15.
"It was a pretty difficult time at school, being so tall. I’d have to call my older brother to communicate with the boys.
"I got a bronze medal in 2008 in Beijing.
"When I quit basketball I wanted to take a break, I needed to recover.
"Then I went back to my dream [modelling]."
Speaking earlier this week about her record win, she said: "I'm so excited, I've been trying to claim the records for months. I had to get measured so many times.
"All my life I have had people looking at me in the street.
"In Russia they don't ask for pictures or anything, they just stay silent and stare.
"It can be funny when you are sitting and someone comes up to you and doesn't expect you to be so tall, then I stand up and I can see the reaction on their faces.
"When I was growing up I had to wear men's shoes to fit my size 14 feet. It was horrible, I would find the most feminine-looking shoes I could. I never wore heels."
