Coleen Rooney fuels split rumours as she ditches her £450k wedding rings after Wayne is held for drink-driving in a car with a party girl
DEVASTATED Coleen Rooney has given the clearest signal yet that her marriage to Wayne is over — by ditching her £250,000 wedding ring.
The pregnant mum of three fuelled rumours of a split by flashing her ring-free fingers in public.
Coleen, 31, has discarded two diamond-encrusted bands — her £250,000 wedding ring and a £200,000 engagement ring.
Pals of the childhood sweethearts fear their nine-year marriage is over after claims the football star “kissed and cuddled” clubber Laura Simpson and leered over her boobs.
A source said: “It doesn’t look good. A lot of people have been telling Coleen to call an end to the marriage.
“She’s been humiliated again and there’s only so much a person can take. She’s stood by Wayne for years and put up with more than any wife should.
“Stepping out in public without her ring sends a clear message to Wayne — enough is enough, this time things might have gone too far.
“And as things stand, it looks like there is no way back.”
However, last night friends she was back in the family mansion as of last night, and added she "does not plan to dash to the divorce court."
Another said: "She thinks he's been a stupid idiot and he'll be in the dog house - or more likely the spare room - for some time.
"But Coleen is a strong, down-to-earth woman who won't be as foolish as he has been."
Adding she knows he is a "great dad" and she "doesn't treat marriage lightly".

Coleen designed her bespoke wedding ring from exclusive New York jewellers Jacob & Co.
She wore it alongside a ten-carat diamond engagement ring from Chopard — a 21st birthday present from Wayne.
The pair tied the knot during a £5million ceremony in Portofine, Italy, in June 2008.
Furious Coleen returned early from a holiday in Majorca after learning that Everton striker Wayne, 31, had been arrested.
He was held on suspicion of drink-driving at 2am — with Laura, 29, in the car.
Coleen spent the weekend with her parents in Merseyside — leaving Wayne home alone.
The Sun can reveal she returned for crisis talks on Sunday night — when she was seen without the rings.
She left the home in Prestbury, Cheshire, yesterday morning.
Coleen has taken steps to banish Wayne from her social media accounts by switching profile pictures on Twitter and Instagram to ones of just her and sons Kai, Klay and Kit.
It comes after she uploaded two photos of the boys and wrote: “No matter where I am they always follow me, and I hope that lasts forever.”
Wayne met Laura in a bar on Thursday during a boy’s night out in Wilmslow, Cheshire.
They later took a taxi to her car before deciding to drive the 21 miles to her house.
Coleen rang lettings agent Laura on Friday to ask for her version of what had happened.
Laura told The Sun on Sunday: “I apologised to her and she said, ‘You have nothing to say sorry for’.”
Earlier this year Coleen was furious at reports that Wayne had “cosied up” to a woman during a pub session while she was away in Madrid.
Wayne will appear in court in Stockport on September 18 charged with drink driving.

LAURA Simpson last night urged Coleen Rooney to blame her as well as Wayne — to save their marriage.
She said: “I can understand her being mad with him over the arrest, that was stupid and, on reflection, he should never have driven my car but he didn't seem to be over the limit.
“But she can’t blame him for anything that happened with me because nothing did really although we would have ended up s******g, no doubt.
“What we did was only a bit of harmless fun.
“I can see it looks bad but it wasn’t really and she must be mad at me and him.”
Laura’s sister, Eden, 22, has branded her a “f*****g disgrace”. On Facebook she wrote: “I will never speak to Laura again. The whole family is mortified.”
But Laura, 29, told The Sun she was unaware of any falling out.
