Topless dancers are ARRESTED for posting raunchy striptease video online… and now face FIVE YEARS in jail
The stripping duo were collared by cops after performing the raunchy routine for an internet football betting company in Bangkok, Thailand
TWO young women are facing five years in prison posting a video of themselves dancing naked online.
Raunchy double act Thanyakan Rojin, 23, and Kanthicha Buranon, 21, streamed topless footage of themselves moaning and cavorting suggestively last month, in Bangkok, Thailand.
The duo stripped of their knickers and used only cuddly toys to cover their modesty and nude-coloured silicone nipple covers on their breasts.
Millions viewed the widely shared striptease but it sparked anger from police and the country’s military government.
Cops issued an arrest warrant for the pair and the pals handed themselves in yesterday in the Bang Khen district of Thai capital.
A tearful Thanyakan apologised at a public grilling and said that she made the risque performance to raise money to support her poverty-stricken parents.
She said: ”I did not want to do this but I needed to get money to take care of my family.
”I also need to help to pay to send my younger siblings to university.
”I apologise, I am sorry for setting a bad example to young people.
“This will stay with me forever.”
Dirty dancing duo Thanyakan and Kanthicha told Thai cops that they perform together online in return for payment from different companies.
Kanthicha said they would get the money for their sexy dance, which was filmed on August 23, based on how many views it received from a football betting page.
She said: ”We took off our clothes so we would get more attention and more money. I am sorry.”
Both pornography and gambling are illegal in Thailand and after seeing the video, prominent conservative lawyer Songkran Atchariyatsap took up the case to prosecute the girls.
They were charged with ”violating the Computer Crime Act’s Section 14 (4)” and paid a £1,750 bond for bail as the legal proceedings continue.
Police Colonel Amnat Intarasuran said: ”Making pornographic and obscene material and sharing it online is illegal.
”There will be a full investigation and a court hearing to decide the punishment in the future.”
The girls face fines of up to £232 or up to five years in prison for the crime.
