Who is Tracie Andrews, where is she now, how did she kill fiance Lee Harvey and how old is her daughter?
The monster stabbed her fiance 42 times with a penknife in December 1996 before claiming he was the victim of a road rage attack
TWENTY-one years ago, battered Tracie Andrews fought back tears as she made an emotional appeal to catch her fiance's "wild-eyed" maniac killer.
The part-time model gave an "Oscar-winning performance" in the press conference - because she had actually knifed Lee Harvey 42 times just hours before. We reveal all...
Who is Tracie Andrews?
The 48-year-old is a former aspiring model and barmaid who lived in Alvechurch, Worcestershire, with her fiance Lee Harvey.
Andrews was violent and had once bitten Lee in a particular brutal row in a pub, witnesses claimed.
Others recalled how she had hit him over the head with a bottle and punched him twice in the face for visiting "her" local nightclub during one of their many bitter splits.
Andrews had even thrown Lee out of their home four times, while ex Andrew Tilston, dad of her then five-year-old daughter, Karla, told cops she had threatened him with a knife.
She was caged for life with a minimum of 14 years after being found guilty of Lee's murder in December 1996.
Andrews is one of Britain's most infamous female killers and is back out on the streets engaged to another man.
How did she kill Lee Harvey?
Callous Andrews butchered the 25-year-old bus driver 42 times with a penknife during the early hours of December 1, 1996.
The monster slashed her fiance's throat during the frenzy and left him to bleed to death on a dark country lane near their home in Alvechurch.
She then concocted a chilling story that he had been murdered by a "fat man with staring eyes" in a road rage attack.
Andrews claimed the couple were followed by a Ford Sierra after leaving a pub and attacked by the vehicle's passenger over their driving.
The harrowing tale gained nationwide interest as it came in the run-up to Christmas - coupled with a devastating press conference Andrews gave as she appealed for information.
What did Andrews do in the press conference?
Sporting a black eye after claiming she was punched and called a "slut" in the attack, Andrews gave haunting details of the story behind her fiance's brutal murder just 36 hours before.
The fiend - clutching her victim's mum's hand - revealed how she tried to help Lee after he had been murdered by the wild-eyed brute after a high-speed car chase.
Now, body language expert Cliff Lansley claims she gave away six separate signs she was guilty as she said: "I just tried to stop the bleeding really."
The expert, who used to train staff at the US Department of Homeland Security, said Andrews:
- Used the word "really" rather than simply saying "I tried to stop the bleeding"
- Slightly shrugged her shoulders
- Dropped the volume of her voice
- Swallowed hard
- Paused
- Raised the pitch of her voice again
Tracie had fought back tears as she tried to trick cops and the public into believing she had been punched by her fiance's killer.
But forensic psychologist Kerry Daynes said: "If I was going to give an Oscar to the best criminal acting performance, then I think I’d give it to Andrews because she comes on and she is, to all the world, the epitome of a woman who is battered, broken and in a terrible state."
Andrews - then aged 27 - was arrested just days after the press conference on suspicion of murder.
Where is Tracie Andrews now?
At her trial, witnesses came forward to report hearing a man and woman shouting on the night of the murder and no other voices.
Andrews was found guilty of murder and jailed for life in 1997.
Almost two years later, she confessed to killing Lee but claimed it was in self defence.
She has since been released from Askham Grange Prison near York after serving 14 years behind bars for the murder.
Andrews, who was moved to a southern coastal town that can't be disclosed for legal reasons, is now planning to marry bouncer Phil Goldsworthy.
She was pictured in June grinning on her hen do - dressed in sexy policewoman gear.
Andrews was given a new identity, dyed her flowing blonde locks black and controversially had £5,000 worth of surgery to alter her distinctive jaw on the NHS.
Her daughter Karla, who was aged five at the time of the killing, was revealed to have struck up a bizarre friendship with Lee's daughter Danielle.
Faking It: Tears of a Crime' airs on Friday at 10pm on Investigation Discovery.
