Former IRA turncoat Sean O’ Callaghan found dead in a Jamaica swimming pool
The dad was convicted of two murders in the 1990s after handing himself into the police
An IRA turncoat who exposed Jeremy Corbyn’s support of the Provos has been found dead in a Jamaica swimming pool.
Sean O’Callaghan, 63, was visiting his daughter following his revelations in The Sun.
He was a police grass in the 1970s and always feared he would be killed.
But last night Jamaican cops were understood to believe he drowned accidentally.
The dad spent seven years in jail in the 1990s after admitting IRA killings. He wrote a book called The Informer.
In it he told of a 1980s plot to murder Prince Charles and Princess Di.
Three months ago in The Sun he lifted the lid on how Mr Corbyn and his Labour sidekick John McDonnell encouraged an IRA victory through solidarity dressed up as promoting peace.
