BOJO TOLD TO HIKE TERROR ALERT

Boris Johnson urged to update travel advice to Spain after ISIS warned of more attacks

The warped terror group made a sick threat to Europe saying 'your blood will be rivers'

BORIS JOHNSON was under pressure last night to change the Foreign Office's travel advice after ISIS warned of a wave of new attacks to come in Spain after the Barcelona atrocity.

In online communications the terror group called on its warped followers to carry out “greater” attacks after the Las Ramblas attack which left at least 13 dead and 130 hurt.

But the Foreign Office yesterday refused to update its April warning that "terrorists are likely to try to carry out attacks in Spain” - despite this week's attack and ISIS' call for more bloodshed.

After the attack, an official ISIS poster was shared on encrypted messaging app Telegram for the terror group’s warped followers, which showed a militant jihadi fighter watching the scene of the terror attack.

It was captioned: "O worshippers of the cross we will make your safety a mirage and your blood will be rivers, so wait for what is coming is more greater and bitter.";

One Intelligence Expert warned the poster’s call to arms to for ISIS followers means more attacks are now likely to follow.

Associate Director of Intelligence at Max Security Solutions, Ollie Wiltshire, said: “The likelihood of more attacks throughout the country is high, especially during the tourist season.

“It is important that Governments tell their citizens where is and isn't dangerous.”

Telegram is a private messaging app that has long been used by by ISIS chiefs to spread propaganda and for ISIS fanatics to communicate with each other.

Other posters in the ISIS Telegram group seen by The Sun claim in Arabic that Spain was targeted because they were part of "the Crusader Coalition" that invaded Iraq and Syria.

Mr Wiltshire also claimed it was not a surprise the attack happened in Spain.

He added: "An attack on Spain has been brewing for a number of months.

“There are a number of loosely linked cells and individuals who have come into the country who are linked to ISIS - many of which are still operating.

“We can expect many raids and arrests over the coming weeks.”

The Foreign Office updated their advice on travelling to Spain yesterday to include details about the British Embassy and Consulate General's response to the attacks and have included a helpline number for Brits over there.

Last month, ISIS called on its warped followers to kidnap non-Muslim kids in the UK.

An instructional article in the terror group’s monthly Rumiyah magazine showed a picture of young boys from a UK college with the caption: “It is permissible to kidnap the child of the Harbi Kuffar (non-Muslims).
