TWO men have been charged with murdering a woman whose body was found in a burning car.
Firefighters were called to Success Road in Shiney Row, Sunderland in the early hours of Tuesday morning after a car was reported to be on fire.
The grim discovery was made after firefighters had doused the flames at the scene.
The woman has been named as 29-year-old Quyen Ngoc Nguyen from North Tyneside.
Stephen Unwin, 39, from Houghton, and William McFall, 50, from Blackpool, have been charged with murder.
Both men will appear at Newcastle Crown Court on Saturday.

Officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses and information.
The cause of death has not been confirmed.
A Northumbria Police spokesman said: “Extra police are in the area as officers carry out enquiries to establish the circumstances and offer reassurance to local residents.”
