A 19-YEAR-OLD has died and another is seriously injured after a car veered off a road and overturned in woodland.
One man was pronounced dead at the scene and another was taken to Worthing Hospital with serious injuries after the crash on the A264 in Sussex last night.
The driver, a 22-year-old man from Billingshurst, West Sussex, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
He sustained minor injuries and remains in police custody.
Cops said the green Ford Focus was travelling east near Five Oaks when it veered off the carriageway and ended up on its roof in woodland at around 8.10pm yesterday.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to the crash and anyone who saw the Focus or a black Honda Civic prior to the incident.
