Liz Carr stabbing – Dramatic moment cops swoop on man after Silent Witness star was attacked with scissors outside Euston Station
THIS is the moment cops swooped on the suspected scissor-wielding attacker of Silent Witness TV star Liz Carr.
While holding a pair of scissors in each hand, the man allegedly lunged at wheelchair user Liz, 45, in London as her carer attempted to defend the actress.
Footage has now emerged showing the man, in his 20s, being arrested.
The dramatic video shows three police officers apprehending a man on Euston Street in central London, with the suspect pushed up against the side of the building.
Onlookers can be seen stopping and watching the arrest as police officers carry out their job, with a pair of scissors visible on the floor.
Liz, who plays scientist Clarissa Mullery, is now said to be recovering from a slash wound.
A friend said: “It was a terrifying experience for Liz.

A police doctor ruled he was unfit to be interviewed and he has since been sectioned under the Mental Health Act.
Liz, also a comic and disabled rights activist, is being comforted at home by female partner Jo.
They wed in 2010 in a civil ceremony described by Liz as a “Wheelie Special Wedding”.
Liz has a rare genetic joint condition and has been in a wheelchair since the age of seven.
She declined to comment on the attack yesterday.

Officers and the London Ambulance Service attended.
