Mum being investigated over claims she stole a £10,000 designer vagina blames her ex-boyfriend
Stephanie Watson says former lover was meant to pay for her surgery
A MUM being probed by cops over claims she stole a £10,000 designer vagina last night blamed her ex-boyfriend.
Stephanie Watson, 26, claimed the cosmetic surgery she had at the Edinburgh Clinic in September last year was paid for by a former lover.
Cops are now investigating a number of failed transactions including allegations that she failed to pay for a lavish party recently to celebrate getting engaged.
Watson, of Blantyre, Lanarkshire, last night admitted she had been quizzed by police over the cosmetic surgery bill but denied any involvement in it not being paid.
Speaking as she enjoyed a holiday abroad, she said: “It’s nothing to do with me actually.
“The Edinburgh one was last year and that was a different guy. That was my ex who paid for it - he’s gone now.”
It is understood a deposit was paid with the clinic in Edinburgh before Watson had the treatment, but the full amount was never received.
A source said: “She paid a deposit in cash and said she would pay the remaining balance prior to the surgery.
“Eventually a woman paid with three separate credit cards over the phone.
“Then a credit card company called the finance department to say £10,000 hadn’t gone through.
“It is understood that the surgery was carried out in one session and she never returned for check-ups or to have stitches taken out.”
Watson is also accused of failing to pay bills for a swanky venue, balloons and a lavish cake decorated with crystals after the engagement bash in June this year.
But she claimed those bills were supposed to have been paid by a mystery friend who is now in prison.
She claimed: “The guy that done the venue, the balloons and the cake is in the jail.
“I’m willing to pay for that obviously because why would you do that to your own engagement party? That is ridiculous.”
Business owners fear dodgy credit cards were used to pay for their services after being told by card companies the funds paid had been withdrawn.
Celtic hero Harry Hood’s pub firm Lisini Pub Co was left £400 out of pocket after the party at the Castle Rooms venue in Uddingston.

A company spokeswoman said: “They booked up for their engagement party which costs £399 and includes a DJ and finger buffet.
“They then upgraded the party and wanted extra food with a few other additions and what not.
“Then they came round and said that their mother would pay in full and then someone phoned with credit card details.
“They then upgraded again and both payments were made in full - the first £399 then another payment of over £400.
“Before the party both payments were withdrawn for some reason. We phoned up to say there was a problem and when we phoned Stephanie Watson she said again her mum was paying for it but had fallen out with them.
“She called back with other card details and the payments were made but one of them was taken back out after the party - £399.
“I’m not bothered about the money. The thing is she has allegedly given three different addresses to different places including Michael who does our cakes.
“I understand we’ve all been given different details and the exact same thing happened to all of us. We’ve all lost money."
It is understood the cake bought by the couple for the bash was worth £200 but the payment also later fell through.
Balloons worth around £300 are also said to have gone unpaid for.
Another hit business owner, who asked not to be named, said local firms will be left cash-stricken.
They said: “I’m more annoyed than anything. We’re self-employed. The money won’t hurt us but some of the businesses involved are very close to the line.
“It’s the time having to deal with it that’s the problem. I’ve had three staff to give statements and had to look out CCTV.
“They were very pleasant when they came in and seemed like lovely people. They were very plausible too, we had no reason to suspect them.
“They had all the designer gear on and she had hair extensions in.”
Watson - who drives a flashy BMW motor with the customised registration spelling out “B****” - is boss of a firm called Financial Fix Ltd which was formed in July last year.
Last night, she vowed to repay the cash for the engagement cake.
Police Scotland last night confirmed they were looking into the claims.
A spokeswoman said: “A complaint has been received with regard to this matter and an investigation is ongoing.”
