EVIL murderer Blair Logan has been jailed for life today for burning his brother alive and nearly killing his girlfriend on New Year's Day.
The 27-year-old was today ordered to spend at least 20 years years behind bars after dousing brother Cameron, 23, in petrol and setting him alight as he lay sleeping next to girlfriend Bex Williams in his parents’ home in Milngavie.
The gardener insisted he just wanted to maim or cripple his student brother but last month.
The family's pet dog, Gomez, was also killed in the blaze.
Psychology student Cameron was doused in petrol and set alight on New Year's Day following a party with girlfriend Bex Williams, 25.
Mum Cathy, 54, watched in horror as Logan torched his sibling over their "hostile" relationship.
Cathy was woken by Gomez whining at 7.13am.
She told cops she heard Cameron "roar" with fear as his brother made a throwing motion then saw "orange and crackling" in her living room.
Radio journalist Bex, of Wormit, Fife, scrambled to the kitchen and put her head in the fridge.
She was pulled unconscious by Cameron's dad David, 54, and a neighbour.
Traumatised because they "can't face losing both sons".
