Amir Khan’s estranged wife Faryal Makhdoom taunts him with Instagram pic of their daughter, 3, hours after boxer claimed she was threatening to take her away
AMIR Khan’s wife has posted a sweet snap with their three-year-old daughter Lamaisah hours after the boxer claimed she was “threatening to take her away”.
Faryal Makhdoom shared the shot of her cuddling the youngster on Instagram with the caption: “My little angel”.
The New York model had earlier posted a Snapchat video of herself arriving back at her house, saying: “Home sweet home”.
Her social media updates came hours after Amir claimed Faryal "drove" him to partying with Youtube and Instagram star Gulbahor Becknazar after "threatening to take his daughter away".
The Bolton fighter confirmed his plan to divorce Faryal in a Snapchat video, but apologised for footage of him looking cosy with Gulbahor in the back of a cab in Dubai.
Khan, who sparked a Twitter spat with Faryal after announcing their split on Friday, said: "I was so stressed with all the drama and I let myself go."
He added: "Hi everyone. I just want to apologise for my behaviour yesterday, I know its something you don't wanna see but [...] Faryal has driven me to do this.
He added: "They've taken my daughter away from me, she's in New York. Faryal's threatening me to never see my daughter again.
"I hate drama. She was really nasty to me, 'I'm not gonna let you see your daughter, I want to finish with you'.
"It has just made do what I did yesterday."
Khan added: "It's wrong that she's using all this against me and making herself so look so good and saying to me 'I'm not gonna let you see your daughter'".
Gulbahor, a beauty consultant who describes herself as an "actress" and "beauty influencer", took to Instagram to explain what she was doing with the sports star.
She said: "I would like to talk about all this drama that is happening within the last 24 hours which all concerned about me.
"I don't understand as this situation is between Amir and his ex wife Faryal so I want to start with this.
"First of all me and Amir and his ex wife Faryal we've known each other for a while, almost two years.
"We met through common friends, we had dinner a couple of times.
"I don't understand why after all this time, well I actually understand her situation as she is going through a hard time and divorce and all this is bad why would you try to bring me down, I never did anything bad to you."
Following the Twitter spat with his wife, Khan said he was "gutted" about the breakdown of his marriage and has been unable to sleep.
He has also been busy trading blows with Makhdoom online, claiming she had "moved on quick" and tagging fellow boxer Anthony Joshua into the post.
Social media exploded with hilarious memes which mocked Khan's vow to “get back on top with big fights” after his very public split.

He then added: "Lol moved up in the weight classes lol.
"Trust me I ain't the jealous type. No need to send me pictures of the men your talking to #disgusted.
"Left my family and friends for this Faryal. I'm not hurt but another fighter. I'm making it public. You getting the divorce #Golddigger.
"Mans like Joshua can have my left overs!"
Makhdoom's account responded to his tweets, but the posts were later deleted when she claimed she was hacked.
The couple have time and time again been thrown into the spotlight following a series of alleged affairs involving Khan.
Most recently in January a sex tape of the boxer leaked online.
The x-rated clip shows him in just a T-shirt and boxer shorts performing a sex act on himself while in conversation with a female model on the video call service Skype.
It is believed to have been made just weeks after the former world champ’s wedding to Faryal.
Faryal was said to be “absolutely disgusted” by the video — which has been published on a major US porn website.
But they put on a united front during an appearance on ITV’s This Morning.
Amir said on the show: “I love my wife, and I love my family. The marriage is brilliant, it’s going really well.
“Everything is fine between us.”
While Faryal added: “It’s just the past that’s coming back to try and bring us down.
“But our focus is now the next fight.”
