STEPHANIE Davis has said she is “delighted” with Jeremy McConnell's assault conviction as she vowed to “rebuild her life” after “stressful” ordeal.
The Brit actress was spotted grinning as she left court after her on/off boyfriend was found guilty of attacking her.
McConnell, who was bailed, will now be sentenced on Friday but the judge warned him he could face jail – with the maximum sentence for assault by beating standing at six months.
And Steph’s camp has now announced that she and her family are “pleased” with the result of the court case.
A statement from her legal team read: “We are delighted with the decision in court today and are pleased that justice has been done – we await the decision on Friday and the appropriate sentencing.
“Stephanie and her family would like to thank everyone for their support throughout this process which has been stressful and has put them all under massive pressure.
“Stephanie would like to thank her family, friends and team around her who have stuck with her and helped her to begin to rebuild her life.
“Stephanie now wishes to work with domestic violence and abuse charities to raise awareness and stop what has happened to her happening to other women in the UK.”
Davis earlier broke down in tears as she told the court how McConnell threw her around like a “rag doll” and called her a “s**g” in a violent argument over a sex toy.
While giving evidence, Steph claimed McConnell had threatened her with acid during the terrifying attack – but was advised by the judge to stay on track.
Steph told the court: "He threatened me with acid."
In an emotional testimony, 24-year-old Davis wept as she told the court McConnell had believed she had been using a sex toy with other girls in a lesbian affair.

Alternating between crying and shouting as she gave her testimony, Davis claimed the father of her child had attacked her after a night out, including putting her in a headlock, then left the property before trying to return, kicking on the front door.
The prosecution further alleged McConnell, who had claimed self-defence, had punched Davis while she held a baby in her arms.
She told the court: “I heard him (McConnell) go over the gate and I thought ‘this is like a horror film’.
“He was booting my glass doors with his foot, and I thought the glass was going to shatter. I thought, ‘this is it, he’s going to kill me’.”
After an emotional day in court, Judge Wendy Lloyd took barely 15 minutes to find McConnell guilty, telling the court: “This is a sad story, like many of this sort there is much emotion on both sides.”
She added: "Mr McConnell may prefer to think he acted in self-defence. I believe his judgement was totally clouded by drugs and alcohol."
One bail condition is that McConnell does not contact Stephanie Davis.
