Anthony Joshua responds to Amir Khan ‘affair’ claims over Faryal Makhdoom by posting Shaggy video
BOXING champ Anthony Joshua has denied having an affair with Amir Khan's wife - by posting a music video of Shaggy's It Wasn't Me.
The world heavyweight champ followed the video with a tweet which said: "Bantz aside, I hope you guys can resolve your situation or this is a hack as we have never even met! Plus I like my women BBW #ItWasntMe"
It follows a Twitter spat this afternoon in which Khan, 30, appeared to accuse his wife of running off with Joshua – before she fired back calling him a “cheater."
Amir made the claims as the announcement of his split from wife Faryal Makhdoom descended into a bitter public feud.
After wishing his wife all the best he made sensational claims she had moved on with fellow boxer Anthony Joshua.
The world heavyweight champion didn't appear to take the accusations too seriously however, as he took the opportunity to make a joke to his 1.29million Twitter followers.
Model Faryal, 26, also blasted her husband's claims, saying: “Accusing other boxers just because your boxing career is finished. Man up amir.”
She added: "After all these years. I've always defending a cheat, always stuck around for him, always had his back. And I'm called a gold digger?
"LOL! He's given me jack s*** -- I pay house bills and bills for my daughter myself! It's like I'm a single mother while he's out messing around.
"And he has the nerve to blast me like that? The amount of evidence I have on you. It can destroy you. But since I loved you at one point in my life. I'll just let it go.
"I'm not the one who's been in the papers every month with my pants down Cheater!"
Last month The Sun had revealed the pair were planning to renew their wedding vows.
Their marriage has been plagued by allegations of his infidelity since their lavish New York ceremony in May 2013.
The boxer's wife has also had a series of public spats with his family - including explosive allegations of bullying made in December 2016.
