Shocked motorists spot four boozed-up men walking completely NAKED on the A66 into town
Embarrassed men protect their modesty with their hands as they stroll around wearing just their trainers
A GROUP of “hungover” men left motorists shocked after being spotted casually walking towards a town centre completely NAKED.
The embarrassed men were seen protecting their modesty with their hands as they strolled around wearing just their trainers.
They were spotted by Kathryn Lynn, 50, who was on her way home with her husband, Michael, 60, after dropping their daughter, Merryn, 15, off at the theatre on Sunday at around 1.45pm.
Incredibly, the men, who wouldn’t have looked out of place in the The Full Monty film, were pictured by Mrs Lynn in walking towards Cumbria town centre and next to a sign showing a school was nearby.
She said: “It was a bit of a shock to see, it isn’t something you expect to see when you’re driving.
“It was just a Sunday afternoon, we were driving from Cockermouth to Workington to drop my daughter off at the theatre for a rehearsal for a play that was on that night.
“They were just walking down the bypass and they were on the left hand side, which is the A66.
“The four of them were walking quite close together, two in front and two behind and were going quickly, as I expect you would do.

“After I dropped my daughter off, we drove back the same way and we saw them again, that’s when I took the picture of them.
“I don’t know how they ended up there, they were quite serious and probably embarrassed, it could have been a stag-do gone wrong but I just don’t know, you’d think if they had been
drinking the night before they would be home by now.
“They were holding their tackles and only had their shoes on, it could have been a prank, I just don’t know, I’ve never seen anything like it.”
She added that after she returned to the theatre that evening to watch her daughter perform, the men, who were seen by the A66 near Workington, were nowhere to be seen.
A spokesman for Cumbria Police said they did not have any information relating to the incident.
