Kennel maid, 33, tells how she survived brutal savaging by two neglected six-stone dogs who ripped the flesh from her limbs

A MUM has told how she was savaged by two giant dogs which broke both her arms as they tore the flesh from her limbs.
Beata Obuchowska reveals she was nearly killed by the German and Belgian shepherds after they attacked her at the animal compound where she had just started working.
The 33-year-old's injuries were so appalling police initially thought she had been fed to the dogs. She needed 24 operations to repair the damage caused.
She was attacked while alone at the compound where she was paid £50 a day to feed and clean 104 dogs.
She said: “One bit the right arm, the other bit my leg - then they put me on the floor and played with me.
“One dog would drag me one way, the other another way. I’m 5ft4in and only about 9st 4oz. I was like a toy to them.”
Her new boss Nijamul Islam had told her the dogs were “friendly” and she should just shout at them if they broke free of their cages.
However, she didn't know he had already been banned from keeping animals and had no right to run the rented compound at a farm in Great Amwell, Herts.
During the ferocious attack Polish-born Beata - who has a seven-year-old daughter - admits she began to fear the worst.
“I tried everything, I hit him, stroked him, kissed him, and even bit him on the nose when he had my hand. Nothing affected him, there was that much power,” she said.
“I didn’t feel the pain during it, I just thought about my daughter and that I had to survive.”
At one stage she even offered up her left arm to the dogs - as her right one was already so horrifically injured.
“I was very close to dying. They wanted to kill me,” she said.
The landlord of the farm, who had rented out part of it to Islam but was not connected to the dog compound, arrived and "saved her life."
When Islam, 44, arrived he asked why an ambulance had been called, complaining it could cause a “big problem” for him.
He even told Beata: “Remember, tell the police you were attacked on the road.”
But he was jailed for two-and-a-half years at St Albans Crown Court last month after pleading guilty to being in charge of the two “dangerously out of control” dogs involved in the 2014 attack.
Beata, who has lived in the UK for 11 years, needed 24 operations including two finger amputations.
She required skin grafts to her legs and various operations on her left arm, where more than six inches of bone was visible following the attack .

On the same day police officers and the RSPCA entered the farm and found 102 dogs in squalid conditions.Sixty were rehomed and 40 put down.
The court was told dead canines were just left to rot at the farm, which was being used to train guard dogs.
Beata of East London, now pregnant with her second child, said: “The attack is in my nightmares, still now. But I am lucky I am here, I thank God for that - I still have my life.”
