Voice coach who sold the secret Diana tapes is blasted for betraying the princess by old pal

THE voice coach who sold the secret Princess Diana tapes has been blasted by an old pal.

Peter Settelen, 65, filmed Diana while trying to help improve her public speaking technique.

The 1992-93 Kensington Palace sessions remained private but are now due to be broadcast in Diana: In Her Own Words on Channel 4 on Sunday.

Jonathan Tafler, 59, said fellow actor and former “close friend” Mr Settelen had let Diana down.

In a Facebook post, he wrote: “You fell in love with her as all those who worked closely with her did . . . and now this. You who had such ideals.”

Facebook users said Mr Settelen was a “cad”. Mr Tafler’s post has since been deleted.
