PRINCE William scored with the England women's football team today as he put a penalty into the back of the net.
The Duke of Cambridge was happy to get involved as he wished the squad good luck in the Euros in Holland.
After a reception at Kensington Palace he took to the pitch, continuing a long-running joke with England ace Jill Scott.
William quipped "she's lethal" as he remember how the midfielder had put in a particularly crunching tackle on him a year ago.
The Duke got his own back by scoring a penalty against her - and she returned fire putting a shot passed him in the gardens of Kensington Palace.
Jill said afterwards: "I said I'd go in goal and he said 'let me see if I can get a penalty past you'.
"He scored so I'm a bit gutted to be honest, I was getting competitive.
"I was saying that will be payback for that tackle but then I managed to get one past him so we're even now.
"It was 1-1!" But she said about the prince's skills: "He was good. He was actually good." Meanwhile, the Queen opened the new Metropolitan Police HQ on Embankment, just a day after she was up late entertaining the Spanish royals.
Elsewhere, Prince Harry charmed the Queen of Spain today as he leaned in to give her a cheeky kiss.
He acted as host to King Felipe VI and ex-telly star Queen Letizia as they visited Westminster Abbey on the second day of their state visit to the UK.
A photographer captured the look of delight on Letizia’s face as Harry gave her a warm welcome to the Abbey by planting a smacker on the cheek.
The King and Queen laid a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Warrior after prayers by John Hall, the Dean of Westminster.
They then enjoyed a tour of the historic site – which was live streamed on the Abbey’s Facebook page.
The Spanish royals also stopped for a holiday-style snap next to the tomb of Felipe’s distant relative Eleanor of Castile, who married England’s Edward I in 1254.
The King is on a three-day state visit to Britain, the first by a Spanish monarch since his father Carlos I came in 1986.
The trip was postponed twice – once last year because of a political crisis in Spain and again this year when it clashed with the snap general election.
