THIS is the amazing moment music fans hoisted a youngster in a wheelchair so he could crowdsurf at The Kooks during their TRNSMT set in Glasgow.

Several burly punters held the young fan on their shoulders so he could watch the at the on Glasgow Green yesterday afternoon.

The amazing moment was caught by Amy Mackie, who posted a clip on Twitter saying: "The guy in the wheelchair is my new hero xx"

The Brighton boys rattled their best-known hits out in a stunning set that came after .

The crowd went wild as frontman Luke Pritchard roared his approval at the typical warm Glasgow reception.

And later on headliners Kasabian had festival-goers screaming for the country's favourite psycho Begbie.

Trainspotting star Robert Carlyle was in the band’s private box to see them .

Glasgow showed Kasabian the love by as they launched into a performance of  Put Your Life On It from the new album For Crying Out Loud.

Today's TRNSMT line-up promises a host of Scottish talent including The View, Twin Atlantic and Biffy Clyro.

Biffy were stunned when they got a nod from none other than Duff McKagan.
