Hot felon Jeremy Meeks’ wife Melissa reveals they’re getting a divorce after snaps of him kissing heiress Chloe Green ‘sent a dagger through her heart’
THE wife of "hot felon" Jeremy Meeks has said they are heading for a divorce after pictures of him kissing heiress Chloe Green sent a "dagger through her heart".
Devastated Melissa Meeks said the pair's nine-year marriage is over after the convict-turned-model's affair with Chloe was uncovered.
She said Jeremy told her he was working in Turkey, and the first she knew of the affair was when a stranger sent her the picture over Instagram.
Melissa, who has one son with Jeremy and two other children who consider him a father figure, said: "They weren’t even trying to be discreet. I’ve been publicly humiliated, which makes the pain so much worse."
She also hit out at Made in Chelsea star Chloe - the daughter of shamed tycoon Philip Green - saying: "What sort of woman would do something like this to another woman?
Earlier this week Melissa's furious sister Michelle said Melissa knew about the criminal's extramarital activities.
But Melissa said she had no idea, and thought Jeremy was doing promotion work abroad.
The bad boy model jetted back to the US for a showdown with his wife this week after his holiday romance with Chloe Green.
Meeks apparently told his wife "I didn't mean it to happen like this" after she discovered his betrayal when a pal sent a photo of the two kissing.
The "world's hottest felon" flew into LAX on Monday afternoon, and also faced a backlash from a legion of fans furious with him for ditching Melissa for the Topshop heiress.
Jeremy and Chloe were pictured sharing an intimate kiss as they waited to be taken back to their £100,000-a-week yacht in Bodrum, Turkey.
Their tender embrace sparked his wife of eight years to take to social media to let him know she wasn't happy with his antics.
Somebody else who seems not best pleased with the picture is Chloe's doting dad Sir Philip Green.
The fashion tycoon refused to endorse his daughter's new relationship when quizzed by a journalist.
Asked what he thought of the fling, he declined to offer any fatherly support.
“With respect, I am not getting involved in it,” he reportedly replied to The Telegraph’s inquiry.
Chloe one day stands to inherit a slice of Sir Philip’s £3.8 billion fashion empire which includes Topshop, Topman and Dorothy Perkins.
Meeks’ wife posted a defiant busty selfie after her hunky hubby was pictured snogging the heiress.
She responded to the incriminating shots of her con-turned-model husband with a series of pointed Instagram snaps.
She also made it known her husband had cheated on her just days before her birthday.
The nurse captioned her latest sexy snap with the hashtags “Queens are born in July” and “It’s my birthday month”.
She also posted the message: "Real eyes realise real lies."
Chloe has since claimed the pictures of them together are the start of something more.
The 26-year-old heiress posted a picture of herself and Meeks, 33, on her now-deleted Instagram page, with the caption: “Just the Beginning… We appreciate all the love and the hate.”
A source told The Sun: “Chloe seems quite taken with Jeremy, and who can blame her?
“He’s seen as one of the sexiest guys on the celebrity social circuit and has a story or two to tell about his colourful past.
“Quite what Chloe’s dad and Jeremy’s wife will make of their fling is another matter."
Jeremy’s police mugshot photograph went viral in 2014 after he was arrested for possession of firearms and criminal street gang activity.
The dad was released from jail in March 2016 and he has since landed a number of high-profile modelling jobs.
In February Meeks posted a pic with his wife of eight years Melissa writing: “Happy Valentine’s Day, baby. Love you forever.”
And just one month before his infidelity was revealed, he was seen tenderly kissing his wife in an Instagram snap.
He is understood to have met the heiress to Sir Philip’s £3.8billion Arcadia fashion fortune at Cannes in May.
