Married teacher Tonie Reiboldt who sent X-rated Snapchat videos of herself to underage pupils before luring one young lad in to sex is jailed
Tonie Reiboldt, 44, resigned from Horse Heaven Hills Middle School, Kennewick, Washington state, USA
A MARRIED teacher who sent X-rated videos of herself to pupils before raping one of them has been jailed.
Award-winning Tonie Reiboldt, 44, also sent nude photos of herself in a bid to lure at least four boys – two of them brothers – into bed.
And she used her son’s Snapchat account to get contact details of one of them – his friend.
The mum wept as she told a court: “I am so embarrassed and ashamed of my actions.
“I take full responsibility for my wicked ways.”
All the students were under 16 and PE instructor Reiboldt also asked them to send her their own naked pictures over a 10-month period.
One said she tried to meet up with him for sex but he refused.
Another said he made an excuse not to meet up with Reiboldt for sex as she waited at a park near his home.

Reiboldt resigned from Horse Heaven Hills Middle School, Kennewick, Washington state, USA, last July after being charged with three counts of communicating with a minor for immoral purposes.
She later faced a rape charge after one of the students told cops and prosecutors in a follow-up interview in January that they’d had sex.
Reiboldt, named Coach of the Year for gymnastics at another school in 2004, was arrested after a detective was tipped off by his daughter about a sexually explicit tape doing the rounds on Snapchat.
The mother of the two boys who received the clips from Reiboldt told the court she did not know how to protect her kids if they were not safe at school.
Her younger son “experienced something that he wasn’t supposed to experience” she said, choking back tears as she faced Reiboldt.
She said: “As a parent you tell your kids, ‘Be open’. You’re supposed to be open. You’re supposed to trust your teachers. Your teachers are there for help.
“And I can’t even say that anymore because their teacher hurt them.”
She told Reiboldt: “I really hope you get the help that you need so you don’t hurt anybody else’s kids, because what would you have done if something happened to your kids?
“I just pray for you and hope that you get better, and you accept what’s given to you.”
Reiboldt sobbed and nodded her head along with the mother’s statement at Benton County Superior Court.
She said: “I want to say that I’ll forever be sorry for the pain and the disappointment I caused the victims and their families, my family and friends, and my students who looked up to me.
“I’ve always tried to lead my life as a leader with a kind heart. I failed.”
Reiboldt got divorced from her husband Spencer, a teacher at a different school, after the scandal broke. She was limited to supervised visits with her two sons.
She told the court she wished there was more she could do to make it right for the victims.
The teacher said she had welcomed Jesus into her life and had been receiving counselling for the past year.
She said: “Before my dad passed away last month, I promised him that I would stay strong and that I would face my consequences one day at a time.
“My heart hurts for the pain I caused. I will forever be sorry, but I will continue to pray for forgiveness.”
Reiboldt was jailed for 18 months after pleading guilty to all four charges at a previous hearing.
She must also register as a sex offender and will be on three years’ probation after leaving prison.
Judge Bruce told her: “What I found in there is you were emotionally fragile at the time of these events.
“You have a low risk for re-offending and it appears to me that your remorse is genuine.”
