DONALD Trump was left red-faced today when the Polish First Lady rushed to greet his wife Melania instead of shaking his outstretched hand.

The US President thought Agata Kornhauser-Duda was heading for him first during his visit to Warsaw in Poland - ahead of the G20 summit tomorrow - but was LEFT HANGING.

The clip captures his startled look as the wife of Polish President Andrzej Duda bypassed him for the US First Lady.

Seconds later Kornhauser-Duda gave the Leader of the Free World a handshake and he responded with a pardoning smile.

Social media users also accused Trump of later playing down the perilous situation Poland faced at the outbreak of the Second World War.

He told the Warsaw crowd: "In 1939 you were invaded yet again by Nazi Germany from the west, and the Soviet Union in the east.

"That’s trouble, that’s tough."

In the same explosive public speech, he vowed to smash the scourge of Islamic terrorism.

He said: "We must stand united against these shared enemies to strip them of their territory, their funding, their networks, and any form of ideological support.

"While we will always welcome new citizens who share our values and love our people, our borders will always be closed to terrorism and extremism."

The US President, who will attend the G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany, also accused his Russian counterpart of "destabilising" action in eastern Europe.

The property tycoon also said Kim Jong-un was “behaving in a very, very dangerous manner" and hinted that the US is considering military action against the regime.

Earlier this week the North Korean leader fired his country’s first Intercontinental Ballistic Missile which is a long range rocket capable of carrying nuclear weapons.
