US warns Kim Jong-un it is ready to use ‘considerable military forces’ to stop North Korea’s nukes after ballistic missile launch
AMERICA has warned it is ready to use "considerable military forces" in order to stop Kim Jong-un's nukes after North Korea's ballistic missile launch.
The warning came at an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council following the missile test by the rogue state on Tuesday.
US Ambassador to the UN, Nikki Haley, told the meeting that North Korea's actions were "quickly closing off the possibility of a diplomatic solution" and the United States was prepared to defend itself and its allies.
She added: "One of our capabilities lies with our considerable military forces.
“We will use them if we must, but we prefer not to have to go in that direction.”

Elsewhere, the Australia will join military action against North Korea if the rogue nation fires a nuclear warhead at the US.
Australian Prime Minister, Malcolm Turnbull, put pressure on China to step in and "stop this madness", .
He said: "No one should ever go too far in testing the resolve of the United States of America. If North Korea was to deliver a warhead into the United States of America then the ANZUS alliance would be called in."
Meanwhile US President Donald Trump took a swipe China on Twitter on Wednesday - blasting the country for boosting trade with North Korea despite its nuclear tests.
His comments suggested the US is preparing to take a tougher approach with the rogue regime in a bid to tackle the problem.
World leaders are growing increasingly concerned about the country’s provocative missile tests, but the US president had hoped China would be able to rein-in its controversial neighbour.

But he appeared frustrated yesterday as he tweeted: “Trade between China and North Korea grew almost 40 per cent in the first quarter. So much for China working with us - but we had to give it a try!”
North Korea sparked international fury this week by conducting missile tests that dictator Kim Jong-un claimed could reach the American state of Alaska.
Last night the dictator crowed about the “gift” package that he sent the “American bastards” on their Independence Day, according to North Korean media.
