Eight people were killed and 48 were injured when the three jihadi knife nuts ploughed into pedestrians with a van before slashing Saturday night revellers and tourists at the beginning of this month.

Terrorists Rachid Redouane, 30, Khuram Shazad Butt, 27, and Youssef Zaghba, 22, all died from multiple gunshot wounds in Borough Market on June 3.

It has also been reported there was a spike in trolls sending out false rumours and fake desperate pleas for information about a relative or friend after the Manchester suicide bombing and the Grenfell Tower fire disaster in London.

Some get retweeted hundreds or thousands of times.

A frequent victim of trolls is Tamara De Anda, a Mexican journalist who hit the headlines after a taxi driver was fined for catcalling her in the street.

As well as receiving vile threats, her picture is often posted online after attacks and disasters along with the claim she was killed.

She said: "Every time there is an attack I am sure there will be a few pictures of me around.

"Their attacks are coordinated and sometimes they make sense and you might get a feeling about how they're connected to the political situation in Mexico.

"Sometimes it's just hate."
