BRITS would rather be stranded on a desert island with a comedian than a model, a study has found.

Four times as many opted for the likes of funnyman Peter Kay over Cara Delevingne — but most people would want a survival expert like Bear Grylls.

Just Eat asked 2,000 adults which type of celebrity they would prefer to be trapped with.

Twelve per cent chose a comic and only three per cent a model.

Eight per cent wanted a musician and six an actor — while 53 per cent picked a survival expert.

Those polled also said they would rather be stranded with a pet than a close family member.

A quarter chose British food as their takeaway of choice. Fish and chips and a Sunday roast came out ahead of Chinese sweet and sour, a pizza, chow mein and a full English breakfast.
