Game Of Thrones stand-in Tomislav Jurcec remains trapped in a child’s body due to a rare condition… but can you guess how old he REALLY is?

A MAN who is trapped in the body of a child because of a rare medical condition has landed acting work on the hit TV series of Game of Thrones.

Baby-faced Tomislav Jurcec, 23, from the Croatian capital city of Zagreb, looks at least a decade younger than his actual age.

Mr Jurcec has a fault in his pituitary gland, at the base of his brain, which controls growth and ageing.

It means that he is a man trapped in the body of a boy - but he has found that the condition has its upsides.

The IT worker is also a part-time actor whose diminutive size has helped him land roles in the global hit television series Game of Thrones.

Mr Jurcec has been a stand-in for Peter Dinklage, who plays the dwarf Tyrion Lannister, and also played the uncredited role of 'Hero Corpse Child' in the show.

He got into acting a decade ago when he met theatre director Boris Balak who quickly became his friend and mentor.

He went on to attend acting school in the Croatian capital city of Zagreb and has appeared in plays and even a Finnish movie.

Mr Jurcec is aware that he looks much younger than his age and says the situation can often prove comical - especially when he tries to buy cigarettes or beer.

He said: "I find that very funny. I like to call that 'shock and disbelief'.

"I raise my head, I smile, I give my ID and the next thing is: "Here are the cigarettes, thank you and goodbye!’"

Friend Zvonimir added: "If we drink or something like that, people look at the waiter rather strangely, as if to say: ‘How could you give alcohol to a kid?’"
