A GIRL, 13, has allegedly been gang-raped by a group of youths on a beach in a Spanish tourist resort popular with Brits, reports have claimed.
The teenager is said to have been set upon by the gang in Alicante, South-eastern Spain, during the city’s San Juan festival, according to witnesses.
The festival is a huge event in southern Spain, with hundreds of people descending on beaches, where bonfires are lit and food and drink enjoyed at night.
A group of teenagers of around the same age were reported to have been responsible for the alleged attack.
Witnesses claimed the group went on to try and assault a second girl when her father stepped in to stop the attack, according to .

The man then called cops who arrived to arrest the group, the website reported.
One witness quoted by said: “The police arrived and the boys were detained. Several people said they were between 13 and 15 years old.
“They looked like they were Moroccans.”
Another is quoted as saying: “Several shouts were heard and in a few minutes the police were already in the area.
“I could see several children sitting together on a police motorcycle.
“Several people said that in addition to attacking the girls, they also stole mobile phones.”
However, when contacted, the National Police who are responsible for the area said they had no record of the alleged sex attack.
