Kurt, 52, was thrown from the bridge and killed.

The 46-year-old said first responder Keith Malda comforted her in the minutes immediately after the attack.

She said: “I owe my life to him.”

The two have stayed in touch, and Keith has just travelled to the US to see Melissa at a memorial concert for her late husband.

The cop said he was inspired by the music producer’s love not hate attitude.

She arrived at the concert on crutches as the attack had left her with a broken leg and rib, as well as cuts and bruises.

Prior to the attack, the Cochran’s had been enjoying the final moments of a 25th anniversary trip around Europe.

Five people were killed in the Westminster Bridge terror attack, including police officer Keith Palmer, who was stabbed to death just inside the railings at Parliament.

The ‘inseparable’ Cochrans ran a recording studio in their Utah basement.

Musicians, including the couple’s son, played at an alternative funeral ceremony in Salt Lake City to celebrate Kurt’s life.
