May, 69, who is worth £170million, posted about a gap between recliner seats and windows.

He said: “I hate it. It costs an arm and a leg to travel this way and I feel we no longer get our money’s worth.”

One fan wrote: “While the rest of the world goes up in flames rock stars worry about reclining seats.”

Last night May’s agent said he was not contactable as he is about to tour with Queen across North America.

British Airways yesterday told The Sun: "Brian May is a fantastic guitarist and it's great to welcome him on board. Very many customers praise our spacious and luxurious First cabin and we hope that Brian in time will still feel we are somebody to love."
