The Queen guitarist shocked fans by taking a swipe at British Airways’ first class over the gap between recliner seats and the windows
ROCKER Brian May ranted about his £11,000 plane seat as the country was gripped by tragedy.
The Queen guitarist shocked fans with a swipe at British Airways’ first class.
May, 69, who is worth £170million, posted about a gap between recliner seats and windows.
He said: “I hate it. It costs an arm and a leg to travel this way and I feel we no longer get our money’s worth.”
One fan wrote: “While the rest of the world goes up in flames rock stars worry about reclining seats.”
Another said: “First class problems, you sound like an idiot to us ordinary people.”
May had also moaned: “Now they sit you about three feet from the window and so low down all you can see is a small patch of sky. It’s boring, frustrating.”

May was on an Airbus 380 flight to LA.
Five days later he recorded a guitar backing for the Grenfell Tower fire charity single.
Last night May’s agent said he was not contactable as he is about to tour with Queen across North America.
British Airways yesterday told The Sun: "Brian May is a fantastic guitarist and it's great to welcome him on board. Very many customers praise our spacious and luxurious First cabin and we hope that Brian in time will still feel we are somebody to love."
