And they believe their former leader Dr Plinio Correa de Oliveira, who died in 1995, is in close contact with Devil.

Even in death, Dr Plinio is said to possess the ability to control climate change.

But worse still he is plotting the death of Pope Francis, it is claimed.

Now a video has emerged showing group members recalling the conversation with the Devil.

This has led to the Vatican launching an investigation.

In the video, one of the group is filmed saying: “Dr Plinio, the author of the climate change, and the increase of heat.

“It is Plinio who does everything,' according to the devil as channelled through the exorcist'.”

The Devil also predicts meteorite plunging into the Atlantic Ocean, causing North America to “disappear”.

It then adds: “The Vatican? It's mine, mine!

“The Pope does whatever I want, he's stupid! He obeys me in everything.

"He is my glory, he is willing to do everything for me. He serves me,' the member narrates.”

It then predicted that "the Pope will die falling" and that Dias will replace him.

A Vatican spokesman told that "an in-depth and thorough inquiry" will take place.
