Cop who shot man dead at traffic stop as it was being lived streamed on Facebook found not guilty as distraught family cry ‘I hope he dies tonight’
Protests erupt in Minneapolis, Minnesota after officer Jeronimo Yanez is found not guilty
A COP has been cleared of manslaughter after a Facebook live stream captured the moment he shot dead a black motorist.
Jeronimo Yanez opened fire on Philando Castile, 32, during a traffic stop in Minnesota last July when he pulled him over for a broken brake light.
Castile's girlfriend Diamond Reynolds broadcast the immediate aftermath of the shooting.
The chilling video shows her calmly spelling out that her boyfriend had been killed.
Castile's family raged after Minneapolis officer Yanez was found not guilty in court on Friday, with mum Valerie saying: "He will have to face his creator... I hope he dies tonight."

Protests swept through the city in response to the verdict, which found that the officer was reasonable in fearing for his life during the July 6 traffic stop.
Philando told Yanez that he was carrying a gun and then reached to his glovebox. His girlfriend argued that he was reaching for his wallet.
Yanez then opened fire, shooting the driver seven times.
Valerie Castile stormed out of court after the not-guilty verdict was read out.
She later told reporters: "The system continues to fail black people, and it will continue to fail you all.
"Like I said, because this happened with Philando, and when they get done with us, they are coming for you and all your interracial children".
Despite being cleared, Officer Yanez has been relieved of his duties.
Minnesota governor Mark Dayton gave condolences to Castile's family, adding: "I will continue to do all I can to help our state heal."
