Woman, 25, murdered little girl, 4, found burnt, beaten and weighing just TWO STONE after being made to sleep in dog cage
Bridgette White, 25, of South Toledo, Ohio, will never be free after the horrifying death of little Aaliyah Smith
THE killer of a starved four-year-old girl who was kept in a dog cage and had drugs in her system after cops found her burned and beaten body has been told she "will die in prison".
Bridgette White, 25, of Toledo, Ohio, was found guilty after a plea to aggravated murder and endangering children over the horrifying death of Aaliyah Smith.
The coroner’s office found her two front teeth had been knocked in and she had been burned with cigarettes, a small blow torch and pushed against a space heater, reports the .
She was also severely malnourished, weighing just two stone, and had heroin and cocaine in her system.
Frank Spryszak, an assistant county prosecutor, told Lucas County Common Pleas Court: "Aaliyah’s body was covered in wounds that were at various stages of healing.
"She had burns and blunt-force trauma marks to her scalp, face, torso, buttocks, arms, hands, legs, and feet."
Judge Ruth Franks told White: "Presume you will never be released from the state penitentiary, and you will die in prison.
"As harsh as that sounds, it doesn’t sound as harsh as the death of a 4-year-old."
