Schoolboy ‘threatened to stab girl who refused to sext him on Snapchat’
Armed cops swoop on Rhyl High School and arrest 15-year-old boy
A SCHOOL was put in lockdown after a teenager allegedly threatened to stab a girl who refused to send him sex snaps on Snapchat.
Armed cops swooped on Rhyl High School, North Wales, as hundreds of children were kept behind for 45 minutes after home time amid safety fears.
Witnesses described the scene as chaotic as staff from a nearby leisure centre helped manage traffic as hundreds of anxious parents arrived to pick up their children on Friday.
Police confirmed a 15-year-old boy was arrested in Llandudno and said the "isolated incident involved threats towards a pupil."
The girl's mum, who wishes to remain anonymous, said: “A boy messaged my daughter on Thursday night via Snapchat asking her to send him dirty pictures.
“When she refused, he said if she didn’t send him one, he would come and stab her.
“On Friday morning, she went to meet her friends to walk to school, then she got a phone call from one of her friends saying the boy was following them.
