Jeremy Corbyn says he could be Prime Minister within MONTHS – despite Tories winning 56 more seats

LABOUR leader Jeremy Corbyn has vowed to force Theresa May out of government in a matter of days.

And he plans to use the Queen's speech to oust her, despite the Tories winning 56 more seats.

Speaking to the he reveals: “I can still be Prime Minister. This is still on. Absolutely."

“We will – obviously – amend the Queen’s Speech. There’s a possibility of voting it down it and we’re going to push that all the way."

He plans to announce the new Shadow Cabinet next week.

The election results saw the Conservatives lose their majority and join forces with hard-line Northern Irish Democratic Unionist Party. to form a minority government.

For the second day in a row, protesters have gathered outside Downing Street to protest against the DUP alliance.

Corbyn believes there is enough opposition to the alliance in the house, and within the Tory party, to defeat the government.

Labour increased their vote by three million in this election and Jez believes he has the support to lead Britain.

He added: “I don’t think Theresa May and this government have any credibility. The Prime Minister called this election on the basis she would need a stronger mandate to negotiate Brexit."

‘Moderate’ MPs last night admitted it was time for a unified front from a parliamentary party that has been split in two ever since Jeremy Corbyn took over in 2015.

Last night former leadership contender Chuka Umunna said he would be happy to serve in a Shadow Cabinet to help Labour “get back into government” in a sign any rebellion was now over.

Labour's performance in the election stunned many, and despite not winning, Corbyn believes they are well placed to win the next election - whenever that will be.

Jeremy believes that there is a new movement in Britain demanding change, and Labour are the ones to bring it.

He said: “I truly believe we can unite this nation and bring the kind of change the nation needs and demands. I feel energised by this result because I know we can build on it.”
