Man left fighting for his life in hospital after early morning ‘disturbance’ in Glasgow city centre

Police say the 32-year-old was rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where medics say his condition is 'life threatening'

A MAN has been left fighting for his life after an early morning "disturbance" in the centre of Glasgow.

Cops raced to the scene on Argyle Street after the alarm was raised at around 1am.

Police have confirmed that a 32-year-old man was rushed to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where medics describe his condition as "life threatening".

Officers said that another man, 19, had been arrested and charged in connection with the incident.

Police threw up cordons close to the entrance of Argyll Arcade, closing off part of the busy street.
