Alex, 27, said he was “appalled” to find the crunchy insect in his seemingly delectable chicken kickers.

And the convenience food connoisseur told the  he feared for his health after eating some of the meal before finding the nasty surprise.

He said: “I’m appalled. I still feel sick.

“I was angry. It felt like a kick in the face. I can’t eat that garbage.”

But despite phoning the store and the company’s head office, Alex has yet to receive his money back for the cockroach-carrying meal.

And the Italian cuisine-enthusiast said that while he has been a long-time customer, he doubts he will ever eat at the branch again.

He said: “I've been eating there for years, but I won't be going back soon. I feel betrayed.”

Alex posted the images online and confirmed to other online dwellers that he did not in fact order any cockroach with his chicken.
