A SURROGATE mother has given birth to her own brother after agreeing to carry a baby for her mum.

Katherine, 30, offered to step in as Jacky Edwards, 47, was unable to conceive after a hysterectomy.

The married mum of two, whose surname is being withheld, artificially inseminated herself with sperm from Jacky’s second husband Paul, 48.

Her brother Caspian was born in May last year.

Nurse and author Jacky, of South Horrington, Somerset, said: “Four ­people created him in a circle of love. The fact Katherine was willing to do this, it stopped my heart.
