Surrogate mother gives birth to her own brother after carrying baby for her mum

A SURROGATE mother has given birth to her own brother after agreeing to carry a baby for her mum.
Katherine, 30, offered to step in as Jacky Edwards, 47, was unable to conceive after a hysterectomy.
The married mum of two, whose surname is being withheld, artificially inseminated herself with sperm from Jacky’s second husband Paul, 48.
Her brother Caspian was born in May last year.
Nurse and author Jacky, of South Horrington, Somerset, said: “Four people created him in a circle of love. The fact Katherine was willing to do this, it stopped my heart.

“It was a bit gross.
“Paul would go into the bathroom and do his business and I would help him.
"Then I would put it in a syringe, run it through to Katherine who was lying on the bed and she would inject it into herself.”
Jacky and Paul were in the room when Caspian was born.
Paul, who has two children from a previous relationship, cut the cord.
Jacky had three sons and two daughters with first husband Jason, 47, before his sudden death in 2010.
After meeting Paul, a pharmaceutical firm boss, online in 2013 they decided on surrogacy.
Katherine, who lives in the Netherlands with her Royal Navy husband Sam, 27, said: “I just thought, ‘I’m making a baby in a different way’.”
