Mystery Brit EuroMillions winner has just ONE WEEK left to claim a life-changing £1million
Time is running out for the unaware millionaire, with just days to go until the cash is donated to charity
A LUCKY EuroMillions winner who scooped a £1million jackpot last year has just one week left to claim the life-changing prize.
The winner bought their ticket in Huntingdonshire, Cambs, for the draw in December 2016, but has failed to collect their winnings so far.
Time is now running out for the unaware millionaire, who only has days before it’s too late to collect the hefty sum.
Andy Carter, Senior Winners' Advisor at The National Lottery, said: "The EuroMillions ticket was bought for the draw on 16 December when we were all wrapped up warm against the winter chill.
"So try checking in the pockets of winter clothes, or in wallets, bags and even down the back of the sofa - someone could quite literally be sitting on a fortune and the clock is ticking!
“We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their winnings."
If no one comes forward to claim the prize before the deadline, the money will be donated to National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.
National Lottery players have 180 days from the date of the draw to claim their prize if they have a winning ticket.
Every week, EuroMillions guarantees four UK millionaires with the winning ticket code VGJT 07021.
Anyone with questions, or who believes they have a winning ticket should contact the National Lottery Line on 0844 338 7551 or email [email protected]
