London Bridge attack fourth victim named as French waiter Alexandre Pigeard, 27, who was slashed in throat while at work
A FRENCHMAN working as a waiter near Borough Market has today been named by French media as the fourth victim of the London Bridge terror attack.
Alexandre Pigeard, 27, from Colleville-Montgomery, in Normandy, was slashed in the throat by the terrorists as they rampaged through the market.
Mr Pigeard was a waiter at the Boro Bistro, located near to where the trio of killers dumped their van, on Saturday evening when he was attacked.
Vincent Le Berre, the manager of the restaurant, is also a Frenchman, originally from Pontivy, in Brittany.
He told the news outlet that: "One of the attackers got on to the roof of the bar and jumped on the parasol on the terrace, wounding one of my colleagues.

"He immediately attacked a client who was killed. I managed to escape, but my friend Alexandre did not have a chance. He was stabbed in the neck with a knife."
Mr Pigeard is one of seven people known to have been killed in the attack, according to French media.
He was originally from Caen, and had completed his schooling at the Hérouville-Saint-Clair high school.
He was a huge fan of electronic music collective, and organised gigs for Cargo, the Caen music venue, and the Nordik Impakt electronic music festival.
Mr Pigeard had been living in London for two and a half years, after moving from Colleville-Montgomery, a small town nestled on the banks of the River Orne between Caen and Ouistreham.
Frederic Loinard, the town’s mayor, said: "Alexander was from our town" and hugely liked and respected.
Eight other French people were wounded in the terrorist attack. Two Frenchmen who are still missing are Xavier Thomas, from the Loire-Atlantique department, and Sébastien Belanger, of Angers.
Fears are growing over the whereabouts of at least five people still missing following the horrific attacks on Saturday night.
Others confirmed as being killed in the attack include Kirsty Boden, Chrissy Archibald and James McMullan.
Cops shot all three attackers dead at the scene, but questions are now being raised as to how they slipped through the net of British security services.
