Cops swoop on Ford Transit van in Barking similar to the one used in London Bridge terror attack
Undercover police spent around three hours inspecting the vehicle, raising fears it was also considered for the massacre
COPS investigating London Bridge's white van terror attack probed another lookalike vehicle, raising fears it was also considered for the massacre.
Undercover officers swooped on a Barking property linked to one of the attackers just before midday, discreetly arriving in plain clothes at the East London home.
They then spent around three hours inside and at a Ford Transit, donning forensic gloves to open and get inside the vehicle.
The motor looked strikingly similar to the one used in Saturday night's terror attack, raising questions if it could have been first considered for the assault before they hired the one used.
It was found at an address with links to one of the three attackers who slaughtered innocents in their evil rampage.

An onlooker said: "Police arrived in plain clothes and got into the property without any problem, almost as if they had a key or were expected.
"When they were in the van they wore the blue forensic gloves and obviously did not want to contaminate anything.
"They seemed to struggle to gain access to the back of it but when they got in spent some time inside.
"All they took out was a holdall which they took inside the house but replace back in the van later."
Parcel return dockets from delivery company Hermes could be seen on the dashboard and a Tesco branded fleece was visible on one of the seats.
Records online appear to show the van was bought in 2013 on an auction site.
The van used in the terror attack is understood to have been hired and had B&Q branding on the back.
It was driven at 50mph at bystanders in London Bridge at 9.58pm before the three maniacs outside fled the scene.
They made their way to Borough Market where they randomly knifed people trying to have a night out.
