London Bridge barman saw friend stabbed in the neck during attack but raced into danger to help 40 terrified customers
A HERO bar manager claims he saw his pal get knifed in the neck before he rushed to help 40 people to safety during the London Bridge terror attack.
Vincent Le Berre, who works at French restaurant Boro Bistro, reportedly risked his life to save others after the rampaging terrorists started hacking at people.
It is believed his friend Alexandre is one of the seven victims of the attack on Saturday night after he was stabbed neck, reports.
The jihadists - wearing fake suicide vests - ploughed into pedestrians before ambushing revellers in restaurants and pubs in the tourist hotspot.
Vincent has lived in the UK for several years and is originally from St Malo, Brittany, according to the newspaper.
He said he was just two metres from one of the crazed terrorists when he started plunging a knife into victims.
The 27-year-old said: "The bar was full. A terrorist arrived on the roof of the bar and jumped on the parasol on the terrace, wounding one of my colleagues. He immediately attacked. A client was killed.
"I found myself facing the terrorist two metres away. I saw the hatred in his eyes.
"I managed to escape him, but my friend, Alexandre, did not have that chance. He was hit in the neck with a knife."

"This explains why he returned to the scene of the drama and put 40 people in safety in the bar.
"After the police arrived and the evacuation, he spent the night with five of his colleagues, like him, very shocked. Since then, I have not been able to reach him."
